What kind of Fashion Flat Sketch would you use this print in?
Today I finally finished a download that I planned to do for a long time. This download will allow you to play around with an animal print. This one will be the first of a series of different animal patterns that I will design. This one is a giraffe print that I designed in Photoshop then expanded
in Illustrator so-that the recolor artwork feature in CS4 can easily create new colorways.
Once you download it, try “recolor artwork” out. Select a swatch, go to edit> edit color> recolor artwork and double click the color boxes to change them
* If you want to change the size, rotation or just the position of the print (Illustrator calls it pattern) right click (or ctrl + click for MAC) on the artwork that uses the print swatch and select transform and then click on any of the choices given like “scale” (see image 1).
* Once inside the next menu it is important that you only put a check mark next to pattern, none of the other option and check by clicking the preview button on and off to see if that is what you want it to do to your print (see image 2).
