Now that the technical parts should find an easy answer, I’d like to show some of the new features that I think will come in handy for us working in the apparel industry.
I have broken down the new features of Photoshop CS6 into 3 videos, the first one is quite long as I demonstrate new brushes such as airbrush and erodible tip brushes, I go into showing a variety of scripted patterns from inter wovens to spiral and symmetrical. I also start the first video of by showing how Photoshop CS6 let’s you use vectors quite conveniently similar to Illustrator. Fashion flats and stitches anyone?
The second video is much shorter, and I show the use of Photoshop CS6 new Oil filter, I also show that Photoshop CS6 can now recover documents in case that your software FROZE…Buuhhh in the middle of your work process. This video ends on a quick intro to 3D.. mainly to inspire you to go and explore the options. 3D has been inside of Photoshop before CS6, but it is becoming more and more user friendly.
I end this exploration of Photoshop CS6 with a last quick little video about newly improved blur tools that makes great use of the new on canvas editing widgets. Also see how quickly you can create glamorous bokeh backgrounds.
