Video – Week 8 – 52 weeks Adobe Illustrator for fashion design series – How to create a realistic looking puffy quilt stitch for fashion flat sketch

Week 8 is here and while I try to make the videos really short, I can’t help but want to share so much information with you. I am limiting myself this week to showing you the creation of a realistic looking stitch pattern brush. But the files that are available for download are packed with goodies. There are 2 different quilt patterns and 1 realistic looking stitch pattern brush. You’ll see in the video what I mean by that. You can watch the video on our blog below or on our youtube channel. The files that I am using in the video are available for download and for taking apart in the Free Member area (click here).

This Video is marked INTERMEDIATE. Watch how I am turning a “croissant on dirt” into a realistic looking stitch that adds some dimension to your quilt pattern design on your flat sketches. Also note how you can easily create new modern looking quilt designs and use this stitch on your own design ideas.

In trying to keep the videos short, I feel that I might have rushed through this week’s tutorial. If there are any questions, that come up, don’t hesitate to ask away and I’ll get on another tutorial as soon as possible.

Feeling inspired after watching the videos, use the tip and share some visuals with me on Instagram at #flatsketch52.

As always ask away here on the blog or on youtube’s comment section.
